About Our Practice:

Our Pediatric Dental office is located in Frankfort, Illinois and proudly serves the dental needs of infants, children, and teens (including those with special needs) in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, including Frankfort, Mokena, and Orland Park. We are a paperless office and use state of the art digital software and equipment.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an upbeat and friendly Sterilization Assistant / Technician that can help with clinical duties for our practice. Full time is preferred. This is an entry-level role, and experience with dental sterilizing is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidates that are motivated to become sterilization technicians.

Some key qualities we are looking for: respectful, team player, good communicator, organized, efficient, stays on time, loves kids!

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Understands and executes proper infection control measures
• Sterilizes instruments
• Prepares clinical items and set ups throughout the day.
• Help clinical team with infection control and cleaning of operatories between appointments.
• Maintain suctions and cleaning vacuum traps
• Maintain dental equipment and materials.
• Assist clinical team with COVID screening
• Assist clinical team with X-rays
• Help with inventory/ordering supplies
• Follow OSHA guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• General upkeep and cleaning of office

Schedule:

• Hours will vary from Monday-Friday and a rotating half day on Saturdays.
