Summary: To do all of the duties required to keep the tray side of the kitchen running smoothly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sets up food carts for the evening meal.

Prepares nourishment cart

Prepares juices for dinner meal and makes sure there is enough for the following day

Dishes desserts and bags bread for the evening meal.

Does daily cleaning duty.

Sets up carts with juice, milk, and desserts.

Helps cook serve meal.

Washes water pitchers, evening meal dishes and cleans work area.

Sweeps and mops entire kitchen including storerooms.

Takes soiled towels and mop head to laundry and takes out all garbage.

Education and/or Experience: Preferably prior work experience in commercial cooking or assistance.

Language Skills: Ability to understand supervisor and others.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
