The Dietary Supervisor is a hands-on leader in day to day operations directly supervising and assisting the Skilled Nursing Center's dietary services team

At Sunrise, our Dietary Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and direct services for the Skilled Nursing Center's dining operations. The Dietary Supervisor is a hands-on leader in day to day operations directly supervising and assisting the Skilled Nursing Center's dietary services team
Responsibilities
The Quadrangle
Haverford, PA
Responsibilities:
- Maintains resident focus business decorum at all times
- Oversees the dining room flow, tray delivery service flow
- Balances the serving responsibilities among the dietary staff
- Handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required or GED required; Associates degree preferred
- One (1) year experience in skilled nursing dining and/or long term care, assisted living or hospital dining
- Supervisory/management experience preferred which may include supervising and responsibility of shift/daily operations
- Maintains current Food Services Sanitation certificate
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Ability to read and follow instructions to meet the dietary needs of the residents
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications

Sunrise Senior Living offers a comprehensive benefits plan to eligible team members including health, dental, vision, retirement benefits, short-term disability, long-term disability, and paid time off. Team members may also be eligible to receive a bonus based on their position. Some leadership roles are eligible to receive annual bonuses.
