The Role Imagery magician, video editing & Photoshop superstar—The Digital Imaging specialist is a key member of our internal content creation team who will play a vital role via expert video editing, photoshop image production, and other multimedia projects across the Green Thumb family of brands. The ideal candidate enjoys wearing multiple creative hats at once and derives energy from the variety that naturally arises when working across multiple, distinct brands. They have a demonstrated ability to manage their time and attention across numerous ongoing projects with a high level of output. This role may touch other aspects of the content production pipeline, but will focus primarily on the creation of video and photo assets. Some projects will be managed from kickoff to delivery entirely, while others will be more collaborative and involve additional team members or departments.

Responsibilities

  • Video editing & photoshop manipulation of imagery across the Green Thumb family of brands including but not limited to RYTHM, Dogwalkers, incredibles, Beboe, Good Green, &Shine, Doctor Solomon's, RISE and the Green Thumb corporate brand.
  • Collaborate with design team colleagues on cross-functional creative executions and creation of standard motion graphics elements for all Green Thumb brands.
  • Cross-functional collaboration for video and photography needs for Green Thumb corporate brand (ie. manage internal production and editing requests (e.g. town halls, event reels) directly)
  • Work to establish and maintain brand voice and motion principles in collaboration with the Senior Creative Director.
  • For any projects working as the shooter—own the responsibility for footage organization, media management, data backups, hard drive storage.
  • Maintain creative files and delivered assets in a manner consistent with broader creative team data management standards.
  • Be willing to travel for relevant projects.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in deadline-driven photo/video production environment.
  • Rigorous attention to detail and comfort working with limited direction & oversight.
  • Ability to execute a basic in-house photoshoot based upon approved direction (e.g. ideation, art direction, equipment management, execution, and editing).
  • Advanced proficiency & technical knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud—especially Premiere, AfterEffects Photoshop (automations/smart objects), Lightroom, and Illustrator.
  • Confidence working with and color correcting common video codecs and formats mandatory.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness.
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses a high level of critical thinking.
  • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.
  • Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.

  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Must possess valid driver's license
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
