JOB SUMMARY

The Digital Marketing Manager’s main responsibilities include managing The Sea Pines Resort’s website, e-blasts, mobile app, social media channels and overseeing the resort’s online reputation management.

Under the direction of the Marketing Director, the Digital Marketing Manager performs a variety of responsibilities supporting the marketing department’s overall initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Manage the resort’s website changes using Drupal. This includes regularly updating content on seapines.com and responding to requests from the resort’s many departments to update images, content, promotions and events, as needed.
• Oversees tickets with web developer for more complex web projects.
• Coordinate regular email campaigns and distribution including editing, setting up in MailChimp, scheduling and tracking. This also includes the resort’s monthly newsletter highlighting recent news, events, activities and awards.
• Serves as the main person responsible for all digital tools including MailChimp, Crowdriff, Eventbrite, ReviewTrackers and others.
• Works collaboratively with agency responsible for The Sea Pines Resort’s main social media account to review and approve content, as well as provide content direction and photography.
• Generates creative, eye-catching content for The Sea Pines Resort’s other social media accounts including The Inn & Club at Harbour Town, Harbour Town, Harbour Town Golf Links and others. This includes creating relevant and timely social media calendars and scheduling on social media management software, Agorapulse.
• Provide social media photography through a blend of personally capturing assets and scheduling regular photoshoots with a photographer.
• Oversee the resort’s reputation management on TripAdvisor, Google, Expedia and Yelp using ReviewTrackers. Listings should be reviewed daily and reviews and messages responded to promptly while maintaining professional guest correspondence.
• Oversee The Sea Pines Resort’s mobile app and make edits using WordPress.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure all content is up to date (including hours of operation) on The Sea Pines Resort’s website and mobile app including images, copy, exclusive offers, events, activities, etc.
• Manage the resort’s Yelp and Google Business Profiles.
• Assist in coordinating the Resort’s digital advertising including newsletter ads, website ads and listings on sites such as hiltonheadisland.org
• Provide day-to-day assistance with miscellaneous marketing projects

QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  5-6 years of digital marketing experience required, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Knowledge and experience using Drupal
• Knowledge and experience setting up email campaigns
• Excellent communication, writing and proofreading skills
• A natural eye for selecting photography for social media
• Proficient use of a variety of technologies and social media tools
• Organized and detail oriented
• College degree required
• Preferred: familiarity and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including PhotoShop and InDesign
