What you’ll do

• Responsible for organizing workflow for multiple team members and printers;
• Coach, manage and train a team of Prepress Technicians;
• Assign and delegate tasks on a daily basis with regular follow ups;
• Provide support with proofing and production tasks;
• Troubleshoot graphics issues, identify printer problems and resolve them;
• Ensure and enforce proper quality levels and control;
• Coordinate the production of our proofing cycle;
• Assist with research and development initiatives to improve print quality;
• Perform regular maintenance of hardware and software;
• Support the printing operators when necessary.
• Collaborate in special cross-functional projects;

Knowledge and skills required

AS A (HART) PRINTER

• Deep understanding of prepress functions, specifically digital print workflows.
• Hands-on experience in printer calibration.
• Experience with color calibration using available tools: QC software, spectrophotometers, densitometers.
• Experience with Adobe graphics editing suite (Illustrator, InDesign).
• Knowledge of RIP software, ColorGate experience would be a great asset

AS A LEAD

• Ability to lead an operation & manage a team
• Attention to detail for quality control; match and color-correct files according to customer needs
• Maintain a continuous workflow on multiple printers simultaneously
• Entrepreneurial spirit in reviewing & improving processes
• Proven troubleshooting & problem solving mindset
• Ability to multitask, prioritize & meet deadlines
