The role

As a Digital Strategist your primary focus is to shape our digital solutions to help our clients achieve their objectives. This simple sentence encompasses quite a significant remit. From evaluating client needs and opportunities through to defining personas, functionality and requirements of whatever solutions are required.

You will essentially define and oversee the projects through to briefing the UX/UI and Design teams and then ensure the development meets the functional requirements. Throughout this time you will be in close contact with the client, maintaining good relationships and then use your analytical skills and the data available post project launch to inform future recommendations. You will also be actively involved with supporting new business activity and pitches.

To be successful in this role, you should have a proven record of developing and implementing successful digital strategy across a varied range of clients and sectors.

It’s a busy role and you’ll need to be organised and able to switch between client projects and internal teams, so the ability to manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines and deliver a positive client experience is a must. You’ll support our account managers and liaise closely with specialists across the business to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and to brief.

You will need to build good relationships with external contacts as well as internal teams, working well as part of a close-knit team, with energy, drive, and a positive attitude. You’ll be expected to have a clear understanding of the wider digital landscape and how our digital deliverables and potentially other services can help our clients meet their objectives.

Finally, you will need the ability to think laterally, make logical decisions and be prepared to work in an environment where not all the answers are known. Self-motivation, experience, and the ability to work well with others will make you the ideal candidate.
