RISE is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1980 as Aid To The Developmentally Disabled (ADD) by family members who were concerned about the physical and emotional decline of patients compelled to live in crowded institutions. These family members believed that appropriate treatment and training in a warm, sheltered, homelike environment would enhance their physical and emotional growth. With the support, funding and licensing of New York State’s Office of People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the Office of Mental Health (OMH), ADD came to life.

We are currently seeking Direct Support Professionals in our Intermediate Care Facilities. We operate five residential group homes ( ICFS) in the following areas Ridge, Riverhead, Jamesport Calverton and Cutchogue.

The Role of the ICF is to cater to adults that are diagnosed with an Intellectual disability and require tremendous support with their own basic needs. Our team provides our residents with support in residential habilitiation, Intergartion in the community and all activities of daily living. Focus on self care and the ability top assist individuals is a priority in these programs. This is a great opportunity also for CNAS, PCAs. Salaries are elevated in this program due to the extensive hands on care that is necessary.

Enhanced Sign On Bonus of $3500 through January 31st,2023 for any FT or PT position excludes on call and the position must be based in one of the 5 ICF programs we operate.
