Director Ambulatory Care – Administration Job at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic
Responsibilities:
The Ambulatory Care Director is responsible for the oversight and management of all patient care and administrative activities in the Clinics and Operations support departments. Responsibilities include strategic planning, development and monitoring of budgets, and personnel management. Works closely with physician leadership to improve operational processes and quality of patient care.

Salary Range: $148,179 – $183,040 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: BA or BS in healthcare or business administration or equivalent 1.5:1 years equivalent work experience.
Preferred: Master’s degree in business or healthcare related field.
Experience
Required: 8-10 years of progressive management in an ambulatory care setting, including strategic planning, development and monitoring of budgets, and personnel management.
Preferred: Project management skills. Pro forma development. Professional presentations or publication.
License(s)
Required: Valid driver’s license
Preferred: Nursing or other healthcare license or certification.
Special Skills
Required: Knowledge of regulatory standards and participation in OSHA, TDH, or CLIA surveys. Knowledgeable of the principles of quality management and experienced in leading Performance Improvement teams.

Required: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient computer skills.
