About This Role:

The Director of IT Revenue Systems is responsible for providing strategic and tactical technology leadership for CMX Cinemas Point of Sale and Revenue Systems initiatives. The Director will help translate project and product requirements into functional technology implementations, provide formal supervision and coaching for the POS team, and set direction to inspire the continuous improvement of technology policies, standards and procedures. This role will collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams to set a vision for end-to-end CMX Cinemas cash and revenue systems, using the skills and approach of design thinking to execute forward thinking projects and strategically aligned commercially viable products. The Director of IT Revenue Systems will also establish and guide appropriate innovation processes to facilitate innovative POS solutions and new digital payment platforms.

This position will report directly to the VP of Information Technology. The expectation is this individual will play a senior leadership role within the IT team and across all the CMX Cinemas business channels.

The Director is expected to demonstrate leadership expertise to establish strategic direction as well as significant depth of technical expertise in new technology evaluation. The Director is expected to have expertise in business domain and business process analysis. Additionally, the Director is expected to demonstrate CMX Cinemas cultural attributes and behaviors in all interactions. Success within this position will be marked by leading the implementation of forward-thinking technology projects and digital solutions, building client credibility by developing deep, trusting relationships, and bringing noteworthy, successful strategic POS, payment, and revenue systems to our Centers.

Essential Responsibilities (Technology):

• Working with the CTO act as technology and innovation lead, providing architecture and technology oversight and guidance
• Provide management, coaching and professional guidance to direct reports with a focus on developing functional, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Establish and execute technology and innovation processes and standards
• Develop and execute technology tools and platform roadmap
• Execute technology strategy and architecture recommendations for POS projects and products
• Be an advocate and thought leader for technology and innovation for CMX Cinemas Digital
• Oversight for technology projects throughout the lifecycle creation and management of success metrics
• Manage contractor and third party technology vendor relationships
• Define key metrics, and outcomes for technology that align with business goals
• Manage and mitigate technology related issues for their projects
• Collaborate on the preparation and delivery of project and product proposals
• Participate in new business opportunities as required, develop proposals and scopes of work as required

Essential Responsibilities (Innovation):

• Develop and guide the POS and new product strategies of the organization
• Identify new innovation opportunities to drive revenue, margin and profit growth
• Assess and manage CMX Cinemas revenue systems that reflects the company’s goals and strategies
• Create an innovative approach with the appropriate processes, tools and metrics to support new growth opportunities (Ziosk [or similar], Mobile, and Kiosk)
• Create multi-technology POS innovation and solutions to support growth strategies
• Create roadmap for CMX Cinemas’ growth across multiple digital platforms and payment channels through strategic guidance and discovery of emerging digital platforms and channels
• Build strong relationships with technology vendors and develop first-to-market digital POS innovation that aligns with team goals and company initiatives

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a senior IT leadership role in a mature IT organization
• 5+ year of IT POS innovation experience
• Experience managing POS in a fast paced hospitality or retail environment
• Experience defining Revenue Systems Strategy and Multi-year roadmap
• Strong project management skills and execution record
• Detail-oriented, well organized, and able to assume responsibility for specific project deliverables with limited supervision
• Deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently as well as in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
