Position: Director of Sales & Marketing
Full time, year round
Off season November- April, Work from home 2 days a week, office 3 days a week

Base Salary: 50k + commission estimated 10-25k. Must build book of business using return clients, and build new clientele using marketing strategy.
Banquet experience 2 years (required)

Marketing and social media experience 2 years
Social media experience required, TikTok understanding/ability a plus
SALES
You will be the liaison between our clients and our operations teams to ensure the best experience. You will be responsible for all sales, property wide focusing on two core revenues: public events/sales and private events/sales. Sales Quotas will be put in place and bonuses given for sales over quotas.
Creates proposals, contracts and banquet event orders. Works directly with owners for contract approval and development.
You will be responsible for menu development as well as costing and marketing functions as they relate to the catering department
You will implement labor cost control, foods cost control, and work directly with culinary managers to hit targets.
Creates operating statements, reports, and reviews of the collection of receivables
Provide input to enhance processes that heighten guest experience and improve financial results
Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc
EVENT MANAGEMENT
Effectively coordinate and oversee private and public events, cruises, and daily operations.
Extensive knowledge of sales skills, revenue management, recruitment, supervision, training, and motivation of managers
Hires, trains and develops managers, and is actively involved in the development of service techniques, menu presentation, policies and procedures
Be present at all private events to oversee set up and execution. Work directly with Culinary and Event Managers.
MARKETING
Works with our marketing firm to direct sales to the appropriate revenue streams (determined by ownership and management).
Maintains local clients database and builds and maintains relationship with vendors.
Creates content for print ads, brochures, and Instagram & tiktok stories.
Utilize POS platforms to integrate marketing efforts.
This position is a key member of our executive management team and will work directly with owners and top level managers to create and implement projects. Must be detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize well.
Position to start March/April 2023. Interviews starting mid-February.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
