Director of Staff Development
This individual is responsible to plan, organize, develop and direct all in-service educational programs throughout the facility.
Requirements include:
- Current licensure for Registered Nurse in MA
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a long term care setting
- Staff development/training experience required
- Infection control experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and coverage guidelines as related to skilled nursing
- Strong research, analysis and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and organization skills a must
Hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
