Director, Supply Chain Design & Strategy (remote) Job at Cardinal Health
Position Summary
The Director, Supply Chain Design & Strategy is responsible for developing and guiding long term strategy for the Pharmaceutical Segment. This Leader will work with business and finance leaders to document, track, and sustain performance of supply chain investments across Distribution, Inventory, and Logistics.
This role reports to the Vice President, Operational Excellence & Reverse Logistics.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Product Owner for our future state supply chain design
- Work with cross-functional leaders including Inventory, Logistics, and Distribution to sequence and harmonize deployment of products and technology
- Oversee resource deployment and optimization of supply chain investments with program oversight
- Liaison and advocate for supply chain development investment and prioritization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years’ experience, prior Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations experience preferred
- Strong ability to influence team and leaders
- Executive presence
- Understanding of P&L and balance sheets required
- Strong leadership skills required
- Strong communication skills required
- Ability to travel up to 25%
