Dispatcher Housekeeping- Gold Coast Job at Boyd Gaming Corporation
Position Description: Responsible for answering phones and maintaining a log of calls received. Dispatch housekeeping services according to guest and management requests. Resolve guest complaints and answer questions.
Job Functions: Schedule staff based on occupancy levels, including scheduling for PTOs. Maintain accurate payroll records (time and attendance) in the Company’s timekeeping system. Prepare GRA room assignments. Maintain a detailed knowledge of hotel services and hours of operation. Handle heavy incoming call volume. Log calls and delegate guest requests and work order requests to appropriate personnel. Accurately document and maintain the lost-and-found log. Other duties as assigned by management. Position Requirements: Job Specifications Prior experience in a similar position preferred. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must have good typing skills. Must be computer literate and able to operate standard office equipment. Must be able to learn and/or effectively use the company’s computerized systems (such as e-mail, timekeeping, and HOTSOS). Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
