GENERAL PURPOSE

The Office Assistant is responsible for the business operations of the Nursing Division at Concordia College. The Office Assistant is a member of the Division of Nursing team and contributes fully to the mission and goals of the Division of Nursing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Dean, the Chair and/or the Executive Assistant, Division of Nursing in all administrative duties needed to maintain an efficient office including answering phones and preparing documents using Microsoft Office
  • Welcome Concordia community and visitors ? answer questions about the Division of Nursing, functions, programs and services
  • Help maintain files, copies and distribute other communications when needed
  • Interface with campus offices as needed.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings as directed
  • Help coordinate meetings, programs and events as needed.
  • Create and distribute posters, newsletters and other communications
  • Perform any other duties/projects as assigned
