DOCUMENT SPECIALIST TECHNICIAN Job at Veritas HHS LLC
The Document Specialist Technician is an entry level/ temporary position (6-9 months) for a backfile conversion of paper to electronic files, tasks include purge of historical case files using established protocols, prepare the case files for imaging, then scan and index each of the file into the document management system.
A Sign-On bonus will be paid in the lump sum of $500 (minus applicable withholdings and deductions) to the employee in the first payroll after their start date.
Primary Responsibilities
- Reviews historical physical files
Arranges, prepares and purges documents from the physical files following established protocols
- Scans and indexes documents into the imaging system
- Maintains file room, ensuring all hard-copy files are filed/refiled correctly
- Maintains document destruction calendar
- Oversees on-site shredding of documents
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Document imaging experience a plus
