Dog Kennel Attendant/Daycare Attendant Job at Pawz Away Pet Care

Then join our team! Pawz Away Pet Care is looking to hire part-time for our lodging and daycare to join our dog loving Pawz Fam! Previous dog handling experience is a plus but not required as we will train the right candidates. Our brand new dog boarding & daycare facility is located between Schuylkill Haven and Pottsville!
Our ideal candidate will be committed to the health, safety, & happiness our guests and have a willingness to learn about dog communication and canine/human interactions. Must work well both as part of a team and independently and also have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilites:
- Ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of our clients dogs
- Creating long term relationships with pet parents
- Comfortable and able to speak with clients during the check in and check out process
- Routine cleaning and adhering to strict disinfecting protocols of kennels & yards
- Follow specific directions for feeding & administering medications
- Willing and wanting to learn about dog behavior & body language
- Knowledge of proper grammar
- Communicate any pet issues (health concerns, behavioral concerns etc.) to manager/supervisor
- Be a team player with a positive attitude!
Available evenings, weekends, and Holidays. Weekends and Holidays are rotational and shared among all lodging team members.
