Learning Opportunities/Quality Works, Inc. (LOQW), is taking applications for our Monroe City office, this specific job is located in the Paris area. LOQW is an organization experiencing steady growth and expansion. We are looking for sharp, professional, energetic personnel to grow with us.

Positions are available now for Direct Support Staff:
Responsibilities include:

• Supporting an individuals career planning and discovery of talent
• Provide on the job support as needed to employees with disabilities
• Develop relationships with employers and act as a mediator as needed between the employer and the employee.
• Provide support to individuals with disabilities in their home and community settings.
• Strong documentation skills and a connection to the community are a must.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Prefer 4 year degree from accredited college, but will consider high school diploma or GED as education.
• Ability to pass all appropriate and required screenings including background check
• The ability to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must possess a reliable vehicle or the ability to get to various work sites.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain a Missouri Class E (chauffeur’s license).
• Must abide by personnel policies of LOQW as a condition for employment.

The current position is Full Time - 40 hours a week. Hours will normally be between 8 AM - 4:30 PM and every other weekend. The salary starting range is $15.00 per hour, dependent upon experience and qualifications.

Successful employees in this position are creative, energetic, friendly, and community minded. They must also take an active interest in people with disabilities and must be able to work independently and communicate with others effectively.
