Night crew leaders supervise and direct all functions and activities of the Giant Direct Home delivery night crew staff. Responsible for ensuring that all replenishment and product rotation procedures are followed.

Essential Functions

- Promptly, at the start of the shift, the employee will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.

- The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, receives/stores/stocks items, checks dates, changes pricing of items going out of code and does all department tasks as needed.

- The Associate unloads truck, breaks down loads, makes up U boats according to department, pushes U boats out to floor.

- The Associate stocks shelves.

- The Associate breaks down cardboard, folds it flat, bails cardboard.

- Ensure that work area is always left clean

- Adhere to food safety standards

- Ability to work in various temperature zones throughout the warehouse is a must

- Ability to push, carry and lift (sometimes overhead) is a must

- Demonstrate the company’s values of CARE, INTEGRITY, TEAMWORK, COURAGE and HUMOR

- Perform other duties as assigned

Abilities

- Must be authorized to work in the US.

- Must be able to communicate and understand Company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.

- Must be 18 years of age.

- Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.

- Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training (this is a job specific requirement).

- Must have keyboarding skills.

- Must complete the in-house forklift-training program (this is a job specific requirement).

- Must have & maintain valid any specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position.

- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs frequently.

- Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

- Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes, shoes and other protective equipment as assigned by this job.
