Scope:
  • This role assists the Environments Health and Safety (EHS) Manager in developing and sustaining an incident and injury free culture. This function will develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal state and local safety regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the day to day operations and identifies hazardous workplace conditions
  • Works with site supervisors to schedule and provide mandated training to employees on safety, company policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to employee safety.
  • Provides coaching to include corrective actions for employees exhibiting unsafe behaviors while showing recognition for employees exhibiting safe behaviors.
  • Ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines including OSHA.
  • Monitor, answer, and resolve employee safety observation reports in a timely manner.
  • Performs ongoing safety inspections to identify unsafe working conditions and provide regular feedback to site leadership on needed areas for safety improvement.
  • Assist EHS Manager in preparation, implementation and analysis for both internal and external audits.
  • Play a key role in worker’s compensation case management to include incident investigations and analysis, data collection, reporting, coordination with Medical providers, claim adjusters, internal stakeholders such as site leadership, supervisors and HR.
  • Takes samples and measurements of hazardous materials and coordinates removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards. Monitors waste removal vendors
  • Maintains safety equipment inventory
  • Conduct noise exposure to identify high risk work areas.
  • Assist the EHS Manager in efforts to maintain goals and objections to reduce water consumption.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of all relevant laws, regulations, guidelines applicable to manufacturing environment, and sections of Quality Manual as applicable
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within EHS field
  • Comfortable working in fast pace environment
  • Ability to work independently, strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence behaviors
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to ability to exercise judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results and resolving complex issues
Education and Experience:
Education:
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in environmental health and safety discipline substitute with years of experience
Required Experience:
  • 2 years of related experienced
  • CPR, First Aid and AED certified
  • Comprehension of federal, state and local safety regulations
Preferred Experience:
  • Safety experience in Manufacturing is preferred
  • Safety experience in Printed Circuit Board manufacturing a plus

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. b) Reinforce to all employees the commitment of TTM management to abide by all US Export laws and regulations. c) Understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL). d) Support Export Compliance Officers and others in their efforts to ensure compliance with the Corporate Export policies through implementation and enforcement of these procedures, provide training to all facilities and departments and support periodic audits as required. e) Provide feedback to Corporate Export Compliance Office for continuous improvement of procedures and overall Export Compliance program.
