SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Electrician helper for a large, well-known client in Mt. Prospect, IL. As an Electrician Helper, you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring that quality product is produced, assembled, packaged, and ready for delivery to the end customer.

The Electrician helper is responsible for operating machinery for the purpose of assembling, manufacturing, and/or packaging product. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18-$22/hr. as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.

Available shifts include 1st shift (6am-4pm Mon-Thurs.)

Overtime available Fridays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities of the Electrician helper:

• Installation of various types of electrical equipment.
• Wiring devices.
• fixtures and assembly of power distribution systems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of standard practices.
• Understanding UL requirements.

Required Qualifications of the Electrician helper:

• Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and listening
• Solid attention to detail with good follow through
• Punctual, motivated, detail oriented and uphold the passion to be the best in the field.
• Possess excellent communication skills, self-supervision, and respect for safety needs.
• Possess self-motivation and team spirit and be able to work closely with other teams in other departments.
• Arrive ready to work on time and be ready to do overtime when called upon.
• Ability and Drive to learn low voltage electrical fundamentals.
• High School Diploma or GED required
