Relative Dynamics Inc. is looking for an Electronic Design Engineer who will work on cutting edge Laser Communications R&D project in Greenbelt, MD as part of our Advanced Development Group. This position requires a background in design analysis and test of complex electrical systems.

What You'll Get to Do:

• Tasks range across a wide array of areas from board design and component selection to board bring-up and test. An EE will be responsible for high fidelity design innovation developing creative solutions meeting top level requirements and helping other Advanced Development Group colleagues with reviewing and improving board designs.
• Pick appropriate key technologies components (external and/or internally designed) and high frequency board stack-ups
• The core focus will be digital and analog circuit design

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in hardware development
• Experience with electronics design and debug skills
• Experience with high-speed digital design of distributed systems
• Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools
• Electrical engineering experience in digital and analog design
• Experience with design innovation in complex board design and ability to work through detailed issues with thermal system design and size / weight / power / reliability / performance with other teams
