Shift/Pay Rate:

• Sunday - Thursday (2pm to 10:30pm): $17/hour

Under the general direction of the Repair Production Manager, the Level II Technician is responsible for supporting repair operations to ensure an organized and timely process for completing repair production orders and projects. This position utilizes broad and comprehensive experience, skills, and knowledge. The Level II Technician position's primary role is to test, troubleshoot, and repair to component level customer and Sagent owned products in addition to maintaining the highest of quality standards while achieving performance goals for the repair team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform configuration and fault management
• Troubleshoot and repair to component level
• Replace parts using soldering tools
• Accurately consume component repair parts from inventory
• Work with engineers on new development or improvements for existing when needed
• Work with engineers and senior level techs to gain knowledge and skills
• Maintain high levels of quality and on time performance of product lines assigned to you

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-year Electronics degree, equivalent certification, or equivalent job experience in electronics or technical role
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in similar role
• If no degree or certification, then you must possess a minimum 5 years of experience in similar technician role
• Test and troubleshoot various types of electronic circuit boards
• Experience in board-level and multi-layer board repair of telecommunications systems
• Understanding of 24V and 48V power systems
• Experienced in repair lab equipment and techniques
• Excellent through hole and surface mount soldering skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Use functional and situational reasoning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexible with job duties and scope of work
• Perform tasks to completion
• Work effectively individually and as part of a team
• Work in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple concurrent assignments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
