Primary Position Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Answer phone calls and emails from clients, employees and physician offices (i.e. enrollment questions, confirming coverage, provider searches, etc.)
  • Work closely with Benefit Team to research and correct discrepancies with enrollments and invoices and process retroactive changes
  • Support Benefit Team during open enrollment
  • Process enrollments, terminations, benefit changes, salary and address changes with applicable carriers and ben admin systems and follow-up to ensure changes are reflected correctly with carriers
  • Process COBRA additions and terminations with administrator
  • Track all event changes in enrollment platform
  • Wellness dollar tracking
  • Monitor status of pending evidence of insurability forms and update ben admin systems
  • Run dependent age out reports and process enrollment changes accordingly

  • Qualification Guidelines:*
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, at least a 2 year degree.
  • Working toward Resident State Agent’s License and/or maintenance of license
  • Valid Resident State Driver’s License

Required Position Skills:

  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Advanced knowledge and application of coverage and terminology
  • Mandatory attendance and participation at staff meetings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50 - $31.50 per hour
