Job Title: Employee Experience Specialist

What You’ll Do:
  • Champion our culture, organizational mission, vision, purpose and values to internal and external audiences
  • Build hybrid and in-person workforce experiences that enhance our culture, build empathy and the connection between employees
  • Be attuned to the specific needs of MCC’s culture, identify root causes of engagement issues, and support managers to address them
  • Support and manage task driven programs; coordinating logistics and planning
  • Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams on identifying, documenting and adopting best practices for employee engagement and retention
  • Create team and org-wide communications on events and initiatives using various formats including internal communications and marketing
  • Conduct New Hire Orientations to ensure all new employees have a positive entry into the organization and knowledge of how to navigate our resources
  • Assist the recruiting process by creating requisitions in the HRIS (ADP), posting positions, scheduling of interviews for candidates, completion of references and creating of offer letters.
  • Administer and track all new hire documentation (employment agreements, background screening, I-9s, benefit documentation, etc)
  • Enter and manage employee data and employee changes in the HRIS
  • Manage employee files, ensuring documents are signed, processed, completed and stored per legal requirements
  • Work with HR team to assist the execution of programs involving training, performance management, engagement & culture
  • Other duties and tasks may be assigned as needed to support the business and the HR Team

  • Critical thinking skills, to connect the dots, to use best judgement and to apply discretion
  • Analytical problem solver, to find the root causes of any recurring issues
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and quickly changing environment
  • Proficient to advanced skills in Word and Excel, with basic knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with HR Information Systems
  • Eager to learn and expand one’s skills and impact with a growing organization.
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Ability to see things from multiple perspectives and communicate all perspectives in a tactful and productive manner
  • Passion for and knowledge of Company culture
