The Employee Relations Manager plays an instrumental part in the success of the associates and the associate/employer relationship. Primarily focused on administering established HR policies and procedures, guiding managers on employee relations issues, and conducting analyses to implement strategic initiatives that will promote increased performance and associate satisfaction. Additionally, this position will have HR Business Partner responsibilities for a specific business function to ensure that strategic business initiatives are well supported by the Human Resources team.

Location: Onsite, 400 Wabash Road, Ephrata, PA

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2nd shift

  • Support the success of associates and the associate/employer relationship
  • Partner with managers and provide training support on soft skill development
  • Provide a safe space for associates who escalate concerns and guide them through the investigation process
  • Investigates allegations of employee/employer misconduct and recommends resolutions
  • Provides guidance to managers and human resources on employee relations related issues, which may include employee discipline, grievances and conflict resolution, work life balance, and the EAP program
  • Conducts and analyzes the results of employee surveys, focus groups, or exit interviews
  • Implements new and updated policies, strategic initiatives, and procedural change
  • Administers policies, processes, and procedures associated with employee relations
  • Stays abreast of employment law and industry trends related to Employee Relations
  • For HR Business Partner responsibilities, periodically meet with designated senior leaders to understand and report departmental needs to the HR team. Periodically publishes an HR scorecard for designated department(s).

What you Bring:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • 5+ years of Employee Relations experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience preferred
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, self-awareness, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Solid understanding of key HR Metrics and how to deploy them in the business
  • Track record of innovative solutions to traditional problems
  • Bachelor’s degree or related equivalent experience

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in industries such as distribution, logistics and/or manufacturing
  • Ability to collect and synthesize data from multiple perspectives to influence sounds business decisions
  • Ability to leverage workforce analytics and insights to focus leaders on relevant business issues and solutions.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
