Learning Opportunities/Quality Works, Inc. (LOQW) is taking applications for a full time Employment Consultant for our Hannibal location. The Employment Consultant is responsible to assist individuals with disabilities in seeking and obtaining employment.

The current position is Full Time, 40 hours a week. The hours will normally be during the day but may require occasional evening hours. The salary range starts at $15.00 per hour, depending upon experience and qualifications.

Typical tasks include supporting individuals career planning which include the following:

• Accurately evaluating the skills, interests, and abilities of job seekers
• Creating a successful job match by utilizing personal networks and employer development
• Communicating and developing relationships with employers to find potential candidates to meet employment needs
• Providing job supports to employees with disabilities
• Dedication to services provided and have interest in people with disabilities

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Prefer a 4 year degree from accredited college. Or related experience can be substituted for education
• Ability to pass all appropriate and required screenings
• The ability to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must possess a reliable vehicle
• Must have a current valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain a Missouri Class E (chauffeur’s) license
• Strong documentation skills
• Must be professional and have a high regard for customer service and satisfaction, a strong work ethic, good organizational skills and problem solving skills
