What you’ll be working on…

  • Represent the Company in a manner consistent for good public relations, attend relevant meetings, and participate in the different trade associations and organizations responsible for community development.
  • Train for and conduct energy audits, identify conservation opportunities and provide energy efficient solutions based on field observations and computer assisted cost/ benefit analyses and follow-up.
  • Perform public speaking engagements to local community groups, chambers of commerce, builder and contractor associations, public and private schools, city officials, and any other local organization seeking information regarding energy efficiency and energy conservation information.
  • Coordinate improvements between the Company, Company customers, Company vendors and contractors that achieve energy efficiency as necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of construction techniques and building components utilized by the building industry to accurately analyze and recommend energy efficient options.
  • Utilize your knowledge of FPUC’s and any other energy conservation programs and the overall impact that these programs have on the Company and its customers to build relationships and increase customer participation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of energy conservation budgets, advertising guidelines, and any other tools available to efficiently and effectively administer approved programs.
  • Maximize sales volume commensurate with required profit levels yielded by existing customer accounts through regular visits and exemplary representative service.
  • Develop relationships and work closely with trade associations, builders, developers, realtors, contractors, architects and engineers informing them of energy processes and end use equipment as well as promoting efficient energy utilization.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by Energy Conservation Manager.

Who you are...

You have minimum of two years in handling customer relations, performing customer analysis and documentation with two years marketing and sales experience or related work experience.

You have an associate’s degree.

You are detail-oriented, possess a high level of initiative and time management skills.

You are proficient with various computer programs (Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

You have analytical and problem-solving skills.

You are willing to travel occasionally and maintain reliable transportation.
