Job Summary

Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking an Engineer – Production (FP) to provide systems engineering support, oversight and implementation.

The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) is a Joint Services Program. The United States Army (USA) and the United States Marine Corps (USMC) are the two main proponents of the JLTV Joint Program Office (JPO). JPO JLTV requires a joint service (USA/USMC) PM FP, the Life Cycle Manager for the JLTV Family of Vehicles (FoV) requires services for the procurement, delivery, and sustainment of JLTV systems. This supports implementation and sustainment of current program actions and future programs.

Specific Responsibilities

• Provide configuration management support to the program
• Develop contractual language to support configuration and risk management
• Review/approve assigned Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Requests for Deviation (RFD) in Government Systems (Windchill & MEARS).
• Review assigned CDRLs.
• Review/approve to AIAG core tools – APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC.
• Support engineering, quality, and production teams (vehicle fabrication, assembly, finishing, test, PPAP, CFAT, issue management, etc.).
• Support STS Work Directives as assigned.
• Support test activities and work to bring issues to final resolution.
• Coordinating PQDR resolution.
• Support production and quality management system audits.
• Support supplier quality process audits and improvements.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience with system engineering processes to include contract language, CDRLs, risk and configuration management, machining, forming, molding, heat treat, assembly and/or inspection/test.
• Experience with requirement decomposition, design reviews and configuration to include DOORS, PDR, CDR, PCA and FCA knowledge.
• Experience with specifying and developing configuration and production processes. To include machine/process tryout.
• Experiences with configuration management and risk management tools (AIAG core tools - APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC, Windchill, MEARS, Project Recon, and Active Risk Management). To include auditing of production processes against AIAG or Process Sign-off requirements.
• Experience with Technical Program Management. Includes working knowledge of scheduling with MS Project, risk management, and issue management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
