What You Will Do

The Manufacturing and Operations Business Engagement Lead will be responsible for leading the IT innovation and application support for the end-to-end supply chain organization at Freshpet. They will be a business partner to leaders of Manufacturing and Operations and working specifically on Production Module and configuration of all modules related to Production and troubleshoot as needed. They will play a key role in driving improvements in the business operations through technology and process innovation.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Proven experience in D365 configurations and troubleshoot
  • Knowledge of ERP capabilities as well as bolt on technology to build the IT funnel for Supply Chain in line with the strategic objectives of the business
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ERP implementation principles, practices, and methodologies
  • Participate in all phases of the project life cycle including analyzing, designing, modeling, testing, training, pre and post Go live support, and deploying suitable and appropriate solutions
  • Play a key role in providing day to day support for the Supply Chain IT applications including trouble shooting issues, leveraging our third-party support team, and leading break/fix solutions and enhancements, along with the larger ongoing projects
  • Proven experience leading requirement gathering and discovery with users and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a larger team throughout an enterprise transformation
  • High degree of initiative and personal responsibility
  • Comfortable in settings from smaller discovery/workshop environments to senior management
  • Understand how to build and maintain positive client and peer relationships

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/ MIS required
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience with full life-cycle implementation of D365FO/ Dynamics AX SCM
  • Experience and strong working knowledge across key Production and Manufacturing modules and Microsoft products
    • Production management
    • Inventory management
    • Warehouse management
    • Transportation management
    • Quality assurance management
    • Working knowledge of Procure to pay
    • Working knowledge of Order to cash
    • Working knowledge of security roles and best practice
    • Master planning, demand, and supply forecasting
  • Using Azure DevOps, test case planning and acceptance testing framework
  • Understanding the integration options and underlying technologies available
  • Power Platform, Logic Apps, Power Automate
  • Using Lifecycle Services to design and plan a project
  • Participation in FIT/GAP process and ability to write complete functional design specification
  • Solid experience in reviewing technical specification documents
  • MS Certifications preferred
  • Excellent customer facing skills, able to communicate at all levels of an organization, from C-Suite, SME, and end users
