KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. is recruiting for a CAD Drafter with 1-3 years' experience in coordinating the collection of data and incorporating this information into drawings, schematics, and maps.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating the correct model in AutoCAD.
  • Make revisions on a model based on customer requirements.
  • Specify material used on model.
  • Compute mathematical formulas to find correct dimensions.
  • Create models out of rough sketches.
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure the model is correct.
  • Develop standardized models of products.
  • Preparation of field notes and engineering/construction drawings.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and governmental agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to stay organized.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Solid mathematical skills
  • Very detail oriented
  • Knowledge of necessary regulations
  • Great time management skills
  • Ability to work on your own.

Preferred Experience:

  • MicroStation

Education:

  • Associate Degree in drafting or technical school certification.
