Entry Level Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Environmental Engineer Job at VHB
ABOUT THE POSITION
Responsibilities
- Field data collection (soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil gas sampling)
- Observe and document drilling activities (soil borings and monitoring well installation)
- Observe and document site construction activities for environmental compliance
- Leveraging technology to support data management and visualization
- Conduct site assessments
- Assist with writing technical reports, correspondence, notes and memoranda
- Ability to work in field and office settings
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Motivated and able to problem-solve and work independently
- BS or MS Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field
- 0-1 years of professional environmental/remediation consulting experience
- OSHA 40 hr. HAZWOPER certification and annual refresher certifications required after 30 days of employment
