We are looking for:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to successfully pass MVR
- Must be able to obtain an active DOT qualification
- Must live within 20 miles of Jackson, MS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience, educational background and/or desire to learn mechanics, electronics, or hydraulic systems. Truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment and/or aerial work platforms preferred
- Troubleshooting capability in mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems
- Strong customer service and safety focused mindset
- Basic computer and shop math skills
- Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings and work orders
- Ability to perform the essential physical functions including frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling under/above equipment, lifting up to 75 pounds. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team-based, safety focused workplace
- Ability to travel overnight within assigned region
- Some trade school or equivalent training
- Strong reliability, initiative and positive attitude
- Willingness and eagerness to meet and exceed deadlines and goals while learning and growing in a fast past, team-focused environment.
- Own basic job-related tools
The compensation range for this position is
$20-28 USD
. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
