Hardy Customs has an opportunity for a part- and full-time, entry level Production Assembly, Monday – Thursday, 6am-4:30pm shift. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities. We are located in Tempe, near Southern and Priest.

MAJOR FUNCTION:
Performs and completes assembly duties and responsibilities to produce a finished whole good by assembling parts and sub-assemblies of optical equipment for the military, law enforcement, and hunting community.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying standard work instructions; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials
• Positions parts in specified relationship to each other using general knowledge of product
• Glues, screws, clips or otherwise fastens parts together using a variety of small hand tools
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintains all equipment and tools in good working condition by performing daily pre-shift inspections
• Strives to meet all established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards
• Continually seeks to improve production methods, equipment performance and overall quality of product
• Ability to learn a variety of different assembly stations
• Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Ability to follow standard work and procedures
• Good verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass pre-employment background check. We cannot hire if there is a past or present felony.

• Must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
• Must be a US citizen. Green cards and work visas do not qualify.
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be able to arrive at shift daily and on time
