Prologis is seeking an ESG Analyst to be a key member of the Prologis Global ESG Team and play a meaningful role in advancing the company’s ESG and sustainability leadership. We are looking for a team-centric individual interested in being part of a top-notch group of sustainability professionals, with a focus on advancing world-class ESG reporting, data management and analytics, and net zero and social impact initiatives. To be successful in this role, this individual will need strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and communications skills, as well as curiosity and a customer-first mindset to meet the evolving needs of our business, investors and ESG stakeholders. What’s needed in order to do that:
  • Play a key role in evolving the company’s strategy for collection and management of ESG data, including collaborating on the implementation of global ESG information systems and automation processes across all functional and geographic areas of the organization.
  • Prepare submissions and data analyses related to leading ESG ratings/rankings to ensure data accuracy and completeness, including but not limited to GRESB, MSCI, Sustainalytics, Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), and CDP.
  • Develop ESG content for internal and external communications, including for the company’s annual ESG report, 10-K/Proxy Statement in alignment with leading ESG reporting frameworks and disclosure regulations, as well as content for intranet, external website, investor presentations, Q&A documents and event briefing documents.
  • Partner with the ESG team members and colleagues in communications/marketing to translate complex, vague and sometimes incomplete data into accurate and effective charts and graphs and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Research and develop reports on ESG trends impacting the company, customers and other ESG stakeholders, and complete benchmarking projects with recommendations on opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support the global ESG team in executing the ESG strategy and program and tracking of progress against the company’s public ESG goals and metrics.
  • Interface with and develop strong working relationships with various regional internal and external partners and assist internal teams with new projects/initiatives/deliverables.

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred, plus 1-2 years of quantitative and qualitative analytical experience preferably in Business Management, Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or ESG/Sustainability. Experience working in ESG and sustainability, including knowledge of ESG frameworks and ratings such as GRI, GRESB, DJSI, and CDP preferred.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational, analytical and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A critical thinker nimble with financial analysis and numerical data with a focus on concrete and quantitative back-up for positions taken
  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams, high level of comfort within a matrixed environment. Ability to embrace change and adapt to evolving business needs and remain calm under pressure.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros), Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience with ESG/financial reporting software systems, Tableau, Power BI, and data visualization a plus.
  • Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, good sense of humor, good listener, acts with urgency, agility, humility and willingness to “roll up sleeves” to drive projects to completion.
  • Builds effective relationships, inspires and builds trust among team and internal and external stakeholders and demonstrates strong customer service skills.
Hiring Salary Range of: $77,000.00 - $103,000.00. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
