Evening Transport Driver Job at Palmetto Propane
Palmetto Propane is a family owned Propane, Refined Fuels, and Ice Company, we are expanding and searching for Fuel & Propane Transport Drivers in Batesburg-Leesville SC. Our Transport Drivers are required to have a minimum of a Class A CDL along with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements. Our night time Transport Drivers will load our tankers, transport, and deliver fuel & propane to commercial customers throughout the Midlands while following route schedules and working in a safe manner. Transport Drivers will fill customer storage tanks while working in varying environmental conditions. We are looking for drivers that are able to be productive, efficient, safe, independent, and work without constant supervision. Candidates must be highly customer service focused. Qualifications of Successful Candidate Include:
· CDL A with HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements
· Pre-Employment Drug Screen
· Customer Service Focused
· Productive with minimal supervision
· Verifiable Solid Work History
· Previous Experience a Plus
· Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and ensures all equipment is in good working order
· Ability to remain compliant with all DOT rules and regulations – Electronic Logging
· Perform all mandatory truck inspections on a daily basis and report any issues accordingly
