The Opportunity - Executive Assistant

Why This Role Is Important

This role is responsible for executive level support for the Integrated Care leadership team and staff. The executive assistant (EA) ensures the effective and efficient day-to-day functioning of this team. This position requires a strong person, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a variety of stakeholders from across the System. The EA will manage the calendars for department leaders. Will assist with meeting management, event coordination, and other department activities. Assists with document creation and editing. This position requires excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail.


About You

  • Associates degree or related experience required.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of administrative experience involving complex calendar management and the support of senior management.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills that encourage teamwork and builds trusting relationships.
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a sense of responsibility for one’s work, e.g. proactive in identifying issues, prepared to address concerns/questions, makes recommendations for solutions.
  • Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment, organize and prioritize work
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, providing accurate and reliable information to constituents
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self starter that is able to learn new or updated software
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and other office software.

  • Travel Requirements: On occasion may need to travel to different iCare or Urgent Care locations across the region
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional weekends and extended hours
