Job Description


It's an exciting time to be a part of Intel's Total Rewards organization.

As an Executive Compensation Consultant in Intel's Total Rewards Executive Compensation team, you will work closely with the Director of Executive Compensation and be responsible for managing executive compensation activities, including the development and review of Compensation Committee materials; peer company analyses, investor engagement preparation; creation of executive job offers; design, implementation, and administration of executive compensation and benefits plans, programs, and projects. Plan/program areas may include incentive bonus plans, equity programs, profit sharing, and commission plans, health and wellbeing benefits, paid time off, insurance, retirement and capital accumulation plans, and ad hoc projects as requested. Program administration includes but is not limited to the following: annual executive compensation planning and executions, executive equity plans, stock ownership compliance analysis, board of directors' compensation program, and overseeing executive retention, promotion, and onboarding activities.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Leading the development, reviewing, analysis, and following up on Compensation Committee and investor engagement activities.
  • Preparing Intel executives for Board and external engagements.
  • Competitive benchmarking analysis, costing and funding of plans, market analysis, and recommendations, job family descriptions, job audits and analysis, job classification analysis and recommendations, establishing policies and guidelines, auditing practices against guidelines, stock and dollar budgeting, strategic scanning of the external environment, lobbying, external reporting, and vendor management.
  • Acting as the internal expert, consultant, analyst, and program manager and representing the function with Executive Leaders and HR Business Partners.
  • Responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
  • Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and leveraging appropriate data and comparisons.


The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Analytics skills (including Excel) using advanced methodologies for data management and analysis, merging and validating data sets, and developing sustainable models that facilitate scenario planning.
  • Experience managing large amounts of structured and unstructured data with demonstrated skills to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Experience providing conclusions from data; preparing compelling stories from findings and presenting recommendations based on holistic quantitative analyses.
  • Understands data interdependencies and effects of assumptions used and methodology changes. Not only on the numbers but also overall impact on a full program or group.
  • Experience preparing presentations (PowerPoint) for senior and Board-level audiences, including necessary backup material and preparation notes.
  • Stakeholder management, building partnerships across the organization, including HR, Finance, Legal and other functions across Intel.
  • Experience working independently or leading others in defining and resolving complicated problems.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring data and analysis are complete, accurate, and credible.
  • Time management/prioritization demonstrated skills to handle urgent requests.
  • Executive presence and demonstrated skills to support and interact with executives at every level.


Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience with corporate governance.
  • 3+ years of experience in interacting with a Board of Directors or aiding in the preparation of BoD materials.
  • 3+ years of transaction experience in executive compensation offers, retention, reporting, data analysis, and project management.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Finance, Accounting, Compensation, and Executive Compensation background.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $127,260.00-$203,620.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
