WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

We are looking for an experienced Executive Director who is energized by the thought of taking Greenridge Estates to the next level. As the Executive Director, you are the “CEO” of the community and set the tone for the overall experience. Do you consider yourself a leader? RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Our soul mission is to dazzle every single person that sets foot in our community. Some of the general responsibilities of the Executive Director that support this mission include:

  • Promote an incredible resident experience by building relationships with residents and setting superior standards for staff performance.
  • Ensure residents thrive by continually evaluating their needs and safety, alongside the Wellness Services department.
  • Meet financial goals through maintaining a high census, achieving budgeted goals, and directing expense control.
  • Manage the recruiting, hiring, training, development, and day-to-day relations for a team of around 35 employees.
  • Promote a sales culture in the community, partnering with the Community Relations Director and management team to drive occupancy goals.
  • Maintain compliance at the federal, state, and local levels, striving for deficiency-free surveys.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and the Roots Living team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce community policies as approved by management.

COMPENSATION OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Compensation is dependent upon experience and qualifications, with a salary starting at $97,500 for a well-qualified candidate. Additional bonuses of up to 20% of your base salary are available, based on quarterly and annual performance.

QUALIFICATIONS OF AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

  • Experience: 5 or more years of experience in long-term care leadership role, and 3 or more years of experience as an Assisted Living Administrator (preferably in Oregon).
  • Education: Relevant Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of experiences and education.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to ensure staffing needs are met, including during weekends and holidays.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional business travel.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, aid in resident transfers, walk/stand 70% or more of shifts, and respond to all resident and emergency needs quickly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
