MSTP - EXELMS Civil Affairs Analyst (PTOC)

Specific Responsibilities

Applied Training Solutions (ATS)is seeking a Civil Affairs Analyst (PTOC) to support the design and management of MSTP exercises, training events, wargames, and exercises in which MSTP participates. Analyze business operating procedures to devise the most efficient methods of accomplishing work. Plans study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis. Collects and organizes information on present operating procedures. Analyzes data gathered, develops information, and considers available solutions or alternate methods of proceeding.

The mission of the MSTP is to provide training in MAGTF across the range of military operations, within the context of a Joint and/or Combined Task Force environment, to improve the warfighting skills, with the main effort of providing training and support.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Extensive experience with media organizations and at the Corps/JTF level creating information environments to support exercise scenario.
• Resident knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at operational command levels as measured by actual operational experience.

Desired Skills/Qualifications

• Mid-Level - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent w/ 3+ Years Direct Relevant Experience
• Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of MAGTF Tactical Warfighting Simulation (MTWS)

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Normal Office Environment

Travel

• 10-15%, mainly to Camp Pendleton, CA; Camp Lejeune, NC; Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan
