Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician Job at ICON Real Estate Services, Inc.
ICON Real Estate Services is a growing professional management company specializing in multi-family housing since 2016. We are currently seeking a responsible, hardworking, and very detail-oriented Maintenance Technician for a 94 unit Apartment Community in South Seattle, WA. This is a great opportunity to work in a fun work environment with a local PNW company that specializes in multifamily management. This is a full-time position that reports to the Community Manager.
Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performing unit turns including pre-move inspections, vendor scheduling, turnover maintenance, and final punch list. Communicate daily with the management staff regarding any changes in the turnover schedule.
- Proficient in drywall repair, texturing, painting, general carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
- Policing grounds by removing trash, graffiti removal, inspects landscaping and planter boxes. Maintain and clean community spaces.
- Perform appliance repair including refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, and washer/dryers.
- Ensure that all move out maintenance work orders and resident requests are completed in a timely manner
- Order building supplies and maintain inventory list of building supplies, tools and equipment
- Ability to stay on-call for rotating maintenance emergency line and after hours emergency maintenance calls.
- Follow all safety procedures, including wearing prescribed safety and personal protective equipment and notify supervisors of safety hazards.
Maintenance Technicians are required to possess the following skills:
Drywall repair, Painting, General Electrical, General Plumbing, Appliance repair, Strong trouble shooting skills, lift 50 lbs., Other duties as required, Professional verbal and written communication skills, and to Maintain a clean & professional appearance.
Other Requirements:
2 year Residential Maintenance experience
Valid driver's license with insurance
Reliable transportation
Positive "can do" attitude and excellent customer service
***Must have own basic tools***
