The primary responsibility of the Just A Taste Bartender/Server is to support the Just A Taste team in ensuring our guests enjoy exemplary service that is individualized and personalized. The Just a Taste Bartender/Server is directly responsible for maintaining high standards on hospitality and service quality for the guests of Just a Taste. Applicants must be friendly, patient, and uphold the core values of Just a Taste at all times. They will be the primary individuals that many of our guests will interact with, so applicants must possess effective communication and social skills. An applicant to this position is also expected to actively study and stay current on the ever evolving trends in the wine and food service.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Making and serving beverages including beer, wine, liquor, cocktails, and N/A.
• Taking customers orders and closing them out.
• Delivering drinks, food, or other service items our guests require.
• Following dress code and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Cleaning their designated areas, tools and equipment.
• Stocking products and giving reorder amounts to ensure we maintain PARs.
• Providing direction, education, and support for the rest of the staff.
• Memorize, describe, & recommend a number of common drinks, beer, wine & spirits.
• Memorize the recipe and build of our Signature Cocktails and classic cocktails.
• Prepare ingredients for cocktails such as juicing, making syrups, garnishes, etc…
• Offer exceptional service and hospitality to our guests
• Inquire with the guest if they have any dietary restrictions
• Bussing tables during service
• Running the dishwasher and drying clean glassware
• Take direction from Bartenders or Servers they are supporting.
• Become familiar explaining the Beverage and Food menus to the guests.
• Answer phone calls and give / take down any pertinent information.
