The Facilities Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of all sites by performing process analyses of operations, safety, energy, and resources for all Webb and Trace facilities. This includes oversight and management of capital expenditure projects, preventive maintenance best practices, improving efficiencies, upgrading technologies, equipment repairs, process improvements, increasing productivity and reducing or eliminating bottlenecks. This role is responsible for the operation of all interior and exterior grounds and facilities for all Webb/Trace and their physical infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and focus on continuous improvement of an efficient and safe working environment for all employees
• Work alongside Webb’s Plant Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that all systems and equipment are in top working order and repaired properly according to the manufacturer’s recommendations
• Ensure facility equipment is running properly in manner that meets all aspects of “Webb’s Quality and Environmental Commitment”
• Responsible for designing, planning, installing, and maintaining systems, facilities, and equipment in collaboration with the maintenance department
• Understand fluid dynamics and liquid control processes pertaining to pump operation & pressure using air/nitrogen for moving liquid
• Administer and resolve all technical maintenance issues for all Webb site
• Implement and maintain 6S projects at Webb and Trace and monitor for ongoing sustainability
• Integrate machines, information, employees, and materials to improve safety, quality, and overall effectiveness of operations
• Monitor and manage all aspects of capital improvement projects

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
• 2 years' experience as a Mechanical, Industrial, or Plant Engineer
• Good housekeeping and organizational skills and 5S background
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP applications
• Strong in using technology like the AMMS, ERP and other forms of technology
