The Job
As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the 229,016 Square foot evo distribution center and offices as well as all mechanical equipment within. As a partner to the operations leadership team you will be relied on to procure and manage rental equipment as well as a manage an equipment training and certification program.
What you will do

  • Ensure that all maintenance schedules are defined, completed and cost efficient.
  • Track, validate and approve invoices for payment to vendors and contractors.
  • Develop, maintain, and report on the budget.
  • Address any facility breakdowns of essential items in a timely manner.
  • Work with the KGIP property management group and the city of Sumner on any changes or additions to the facility that require approval or permit.
  • Research, develop, and implement the equipment training program for staff.
  • Manage a small team of support personnel.
  • Respond to facility emergencies across any shifts. i.e. plumbing, security, fire system or mechanical outages.
  • Manage the building safety committee and address all action items produced.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in OSHA and L&I law as it pertains to equipment or the facility.

Requirements: What you will need

  • Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, hydraulics and automated belt systems.
  • Proficiency with general/industrial repair tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors and team members.
  • Great project management, organization and prioritization abilities.
  • Attention to details and preemptive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate and train the use of heavy equipment.
  • Experience with equipment training and certification programs.
  • Experience in heavy equipment maintenance and budget management.

Pay: $77,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
