FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHICIAN II - 2nd SHIFT (2pm-10:30pm) Job at Keystone Management LLC
Job Summary:
Keystone Management is searching for a General Mechanic to work at the airport hangars at Ronald Reagan International Airport. The job task will include but not limited to performing the repair, maintenance, restoration, and placement of various components of the physical structure of buildings and shop equipment. This individual will also perform tasks that will include but not be limited to performing maintenance procedures on water fountains, bench grinder, drill press, battery chargers, aerial lift machinery, miscellaneous tools, locks and locking mechanism, doors, windows, plumbing components, electrical components, and lighting components and systems.
Essential Functions:

Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance

Knowledge of machinery and hydraulics, electrical and other systems and their components

Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers)

Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints, etc.

A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
-
Very good communication skills and problem-solving skills required
Education and Experience:
-
A high school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is a definite plus

Experience in welding and pipe fitting is a plus

Valid certification (e.g. ASE) is preferred
-
CFC certification is a plus
Requirements:

Must be able to pass a Federal Aviation Administration background check

Must be able to lift 50 pounds
-
Must pass Drug Testing and Background Screening
-
Must have a clear Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
