We have a FANTASTIC family in the Bloomfield Hills area looking for a Family Assistant to add to their household. In this role, you will be a considered an extension of the family.

The Family Assistant is a combination of a household personal assistant and a nanny all in one! The family assistant will be responsible for, scheduling appointments, planning family travel, providing childcare, organizing the household and assisting parents with basic chores and errands, however, no cleaning is required.

This is a full-time opportunity with a flexible schedule. Ideally the schedule will be Monday – Friday from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm and occasionally weekends.

What your day will look like:

• Engage in tasks that support the proper functioning of a family’s personal life, including children’s schedules, travel, activities, among other categories
• Help to coordinate functions, events and other activities
• Engage in the completion of school, camp, healthcare, special programming forms
• Coordinate and effectuate mailings such as holiday cards, invitations
• Research and execute special projects
• Be responsible for “gifting” and delivery of said gifts
• Create files, spreadsheets and other documentation of certain matters, as necessary
• School pick up/drop off
• A vehicle for transporting children will be provided, however, must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Run errands for the family
• Assist with administrative duties: scheduling appointments, planning travel arrangements, etc.

A full background, drug screen and driving record verification will be completed prior to start.
