Attorney Position Available
The Law office of Tamela T. Wallace, a small law firm in downtown Charlotte, NC, is seeking a skilled domestic Attorney.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor with clients
- Maintains client confidentiality
- Must be able to multi-task and to handle tasks quickly and efficiently
- Meets with new clients; prepared initial documents
-Prepares legal and court documents
-Obtains pertinent case information and data from the client
-Processes mail on a daily basis to review any additional information pertinent to the cases being managed; determines and enters any necessary case notes for items received
Qualification:
Candidate must have 3+ years’ experience in a high volume Domestic law firm
Experience with Lexis Nexis, Microsoft office and other legal software. Ability to operate telephone, fax, photocopier, computers and other pertinent office equipment. Ability to work independently.
Candidate must also be professional, detail oriented and has excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $89,144.71 per year
