Altruistic AC & Heating is a locally owned HVAC company that provides professional heating, air conditioning, and indoor air quality services across the Austin area.

We are a fast-growing HVAC company looking for someone with high energy to join a team of like-minded professionals.

The person in this role will need to be self-motivated, friendly and a master at problem solving. This role requires a positive, can-do attitude who always puts the client first. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and be well-versed in relationship building.

Must be available in Austin or surrounding areas for in-person training and completing regular tasks on-site.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supervise and lead Service Technicians and Installation Crew
  • Directly responsible for recruiting, interviewing, training, managing, and evaluating field technicians
  • Conduct ride-a-longs with technicians and provide feedback
  • Ensure all repairs and installations are completed to the highest quality standards and any necessary permits are obtained
  • Communicate and monitor goals
  • Manage workload and schedules to best utilize manpower and maximizes profits
  • Ensure technicians are being dispatched effectively – Communication with Admin team regarding dispatching feedback or adjustments
  • Assist technicians with issues while in the field
  • Facilitate weekly meetings
  • Resolve customer issues or concerns to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Ensure all department operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, federal, and company requirements
  • Ensure all team members comply with OSHA safety standards.
  • Harness a safety culture
  • Provide feedback to managers regarding market trends, revenue opportunities, customer issues, and all issues relevant to the business
  • Manage and stay within departmental budget
  • Achieve budgeted gross margin
  • Meet or exceed all company goals
  • Maximize lead opportunities, retain and grow Club Membership clients.
  • Manage inventory, equipment and service fleet
  • Review and approve new products and services
  • Perform clerical duties associated with field technician paperwork, personnel evaluations, and expense reports
  • Carry out additional duties assigned by the General Manager or Owner
  • Obey and teach the company Code of Ethics, Team Rules, and Team Philosophy.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong professional written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Proven track record of maintaining professionalism, composure and discretion
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ years of field service management experience
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word/Excel and Outlook)
  • Aptitude for organization and recordkeeping
  • Experience using ServiceTitan is a plus!
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is preferred, but not required

Location: Hybrid work week. 4 days in office, 1 day remote.
