Your Future Team
Hightower is looking to add an Finance IT Associate to help manage all aspects of its Finance and Governance processes. You will have experience in financial analysis financial performance. You will aggregate complex information and communicate it concisely. Our IT Finance Associate will play an important part in identifying how IT Finance can support our growing and evolving business. You will take an active role in the planning of the IT budget, forecasting, and reporting on actuals. You will perform main processes to communicate the ongoing statuses of both the IT Project and VCP Governance Project plans. Additionally, they will collaborate with members of the IT organization to achieve business and financial goals. You will have a passion to learn, and the ability to develop and change.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a Hightower brand ambassador by upholding The Hightower Way cultural elements – Mission, Purpose, V.A.L.U.E. Experience, Commitment and Standards, promoting excellence in the internal and external client experience during every encounter
  • Improve consistency in every client and colleague encounter by embodying the core principles of our Hightower V.A.L.U.E. Experience (Validate, Actively Listen, Leverage Resources, Understand Ownership, Express Gratitude)
  • Partner with cross-discipline team members to support collaboration and promote a positive client experience
  • Partner in the annual strategic planning and budgeting process
  • Communicate with IT Project Managers to forecast project spend monthly
  • Report on actual spend vs. budgeted spend and identify variances
  • Perform ongoing tasks such as updating financial models, maintaining project status boards, and communicating with company partners
  • Maintain a holistic view of technology operational expenses, capital expenditures, and project costs
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects, summarize, and communicate findings
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the IT Finance team; implement, and monitor changes in work processes to ensure performance outcomes are achieved
  • Help coordinate asset, vendor, and contract management activities and tracking
What You'll Bring
  • ABA / BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in finance or related field
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including advanced MS excel (can perform complex functions) skills
  • Experience maintaining detailed financial models
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and adapt to changing conditions
  • Ability to be a problem-solver
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Previous knowledge of Asana or other project management tools is a plus
