About the Role:

In this role, you will broadly support the Bank through financial reporting and performance management needs, including reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting processes. You will analyze historical trends and support the preparation of forecasts to identify and explain historical and projected variances relative to financial targets. You may perform studies, develop models and/or reports to support organizational, customer and product profitability.

  • Collect data and works on varied phases of financial studies such as financial and expense performance, benchmark reviews, and analyze trends. You will evaluate findings and make recommendations.
  • Analyze current processes to identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Conduct special studies and cooperate with other departments in the implementation of cost controls. You may participate in the development of company accounting standards, practices, and/or procedures.
  • Work on projects that are generally routine in nature that can be solved by following generally defined procedures and policies.
  • Assist team by cross-training and serving as backup.
  • Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position and keep up to date on regulation changes.
  • Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations that apply to your position
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
About You:
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance, business, economics, or equivalent, required.
  • Less than 2 years of relevant financial and/or mathematical data experience applied to budget preparation, financial analysis, and cost control or evaluation, required.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company.
  • Proficiency with Word and Excel, and experience with financial software.
  • Comfortable learning and using new software applications.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks successfully.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to train and present to small and large audiences or has the interest in learning to train and present.

Our Benefits:

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $21.90 - $33.82, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
